Problem:

When starting "sendmail", it shows "start OK" but the status is alway stopped. Postfix is ok though.

Solution:

Asianux includes two mail transport agents (MTAs), postfix and sendmail. Postfix is the default MTA. Only the default MTA can be started. To change the default MTA, please run the following command:

system-switch-mail

and select the MTA you want to use.

The system-switch-mail tool can also change the running service, ie it stops the previous one and starts the new one), so you do not need to start/stop the services after running the tool.
