3. General Notes
----------------------------------------------------
o LKST
  LKST function has been excluded.
There is no plan to implement LKST kernel in AXS2SP4.

o Asianux 2.0 Service Pack 4 does not support upgrading an already installed
system. It only supports new installations.

----------------------------------------------------
4. Restrictions/Known Bugs
----------------------------------------------------
o The GUI installation doesn't work on machines with a Matrox G200EV display
adapter. Specify the following boot option 'vga=791' or choose the TUI
installation. After the installation, it works properly.

o The BCM5787 Gigabit Ethernet controller can not get an IP address from the
  DHCP server.
Add the following parameter in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX to
  avoid this problem.

    LINKDELAY=20

o Memory error detection function doesn't work with edac driver.
To avoid this, modify /etc/modprobe.conf as follows:

        install *_edac /bin/true
        install edac_* /bin/true

    And reboot the system

o The SMP kernel is installed on virtual machine with a UP system.

o Wrong CPU information is shown in /proc/cpuinfo for machines with a
  Lynnfield processor installed.

o Unwritable file with setuid/setgid bit on.

o Some parameters are set to wrong values (ex:siblings) in /proc/cpuinfo
with Nehalem processor. Use largesmp kernel to get correct values.

o The order of probing NIC will be changed after kernel update.
To avoid this situation, specify HWADDR (MAC address) in the NIC's config
file in /etc/sysconfig/network-scrips/, if the installed kernel is earlier
than 2.6.9-42.29AX and is going to be updated the latest kernel.

o Kernel cannot detect total physical memory size correctly on machines
with a Nehalem processor and more than 2GB physical memory.
Specify a boot option like 'numa=acpi' for such case.

o Heavy workload to XFS partition makes the system reboot.
  XFS is not recommended.

o Heavy I/O workload by diskdump through stex driver sometimes causes a
  kernel panic.

o The 'ahci' driver doesn't support diskdump.

o xnetware cannot find out igb network driver.

o rfsysinfo doesn't list up SATA disks.
